To identify if your specific vehicle is involved in the recall, please visit the GM Owner Center and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

We have already notified affected owners by mail and expect to have the first replacement parts available beginning in early April, with parts availability improving as time goes on. Once parts become available, customers will receive a follow-up letter informing them when they can contact dealers to schedule a repair appointment. This service will be performed at no charge.

GM CEO Mary Barra has asked for an extensive review of the GM recall process and has already appointed a new global safety leader whose first priority will be to quickly identify and resolve product safety issues.

If you have any questions about what to do if your vehicle is included in the list above or in the recall, please visit the Ignition Switch Safety Information site.
