It’s been a long few days, but we are glad we didn’t wait to trek from Atlanta to Tuscaloosa to drop off supplies for the victims of last week’s tornado. A big storm came in just as we were unloading our cargo onto the dozen Silverados Chevrolet is donating to the United Ways of Alabama. Once they are loaded up, they’ll take off to be used by the United Ways in the six areas hit hardest—and with this storm coming in, those umbrellas and tarps are urgently needed.
We were a little worn out after gathering all the supplies and driving them here, but seeing all the folks from Tuscaloosa Chevrolet waiting and eager to help renewed our energy. The enthusiasm from those providing relief is infectious and a feeling I’ll never forget.
I’ll send more updates as they come, but as a reminder, you can donate too by clicking here.
