George Baker said he realized when he was young, “I wanted to be amongst heroes.” He graduated from West Point, served in the military all around the globe, and in 1995 he joined General Motors. In 2000 he became director of GM military trucks, leading the development and deliveries of specially-modified trucks to major military and federal agencies in the United States and abroad. Today he is manager of public policy for OnStar, developing and maintaining OnStar’s strategic relationships with the public safety community in the U.S. and Canada.
He is now a member of the U.S. Army Retired Reserve. He and his wife, Shannon, are the proud parents of three active and growing sons.
