The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, revealed today at the Los Angeles Auto Show, is a small truck that makes a big impact. The all-new Colorado redefines the midsize truck market and offers powerful capabilities and versatility to customers who don’t require or want a full-size truck.
There’s a special customer out there who prefers a smaller pickup to meet their needs. Through research, we found that this customer is very diverse and multidimensional – ranging from entry level buyers to middle aged families and retirees. The common thread that ties them all together, though, is an active lifestyle. With better fuel economy and maneuverability and a host of lifestyle accessories, the Colorado caters to the needs of this dynamic individual.
The all-new Colorado also features distinctive design with a confident, go-anywhere stance and a sporty demeanor. The interior is comfortable, cleverly equipped and well connected. The new Colorado’s technologies are aimed at complementing owners’ lifestyles with connectivity and other features that support their daily and recreational lives, all while keeping them safe.
With the economy turning around and auto sales in general picking up, we feel that it’s the right time to introduce a vehicle like this. Midsize pickups haven’t been refreshed in some time, so customers are extremely excited for the Colorado to hit the market. Here at Chevrolet, we will continue to work and develop the Colorado until the start of production in 2014.
