For our customers, their business or commercial vehicle fleet is the lifeblood of their success.
We understand that.
Commercial, Rental, Government, Municipal and Small Business buyers alike need a fleet partner who can provide great products, innovative business solutions and an exceptional customer experience.
That’s what we do!
At GM Fleet & Commercial, we view our customers as our professional partners. We are with our partners every step of the way – before, during and after the sale – and we’re doing everything we can to ensure we’re offering high-quality products and services that go beyond their expectations.
This week, we revealed the 2015 Chevrolet City Express Cargo Van – an all-new small cargo van, set to arrive at our dealerships in the fall of this year. Our fleet customers have asked us for an entry into the small commercial van segment, and we feel this addition to the Chevrolet portfolio will meet the needs of many customers.
As the newest member of the Chevrolet Express family of vans, the 2015 City Express offers a smaller, more efficient choice for businesses that may not need the cargo volume or other capabilities of a full-size van. Whether you deliver flowers, cakes or pharmaceuticals, it provides the ideal amount of cargo space. The City Express is an easy-to-maneuver van that makes the most of its compact dimensions with clever features, allowing business owners to maximize its space – and their resources – with a vehicle sized just right for their needs. We are excited about the many options that the City Express will provide to our customers.
We also announced this week Chevrolet’s expanded availability of bi-fuel versions of the new 2015 Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD trucks. The CNG option is now available on all Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD configurations, with single rear wheels. These additions will give customers and fleet managers more choices for cleaner-burning compressed natural gas-powered models (CNG) – and savings at the pump. Our Silverado bi-fuel models have a driving range of up to 650 miles. With CNG currently priced about 62 percent less per gallon than gasoline and delivering comparable efficiency, a work truck that racks up 26,000 miles a year can realize a fuel-cost savings of more than $2,000 annually (based on 75-percent CNG usage).
According to R.L. Polk & Co., through November 2013, registrations of vehicles by small businesses had increased more than 10 percent year-over-year. We want customers in this growing space to keep GM’s Fleet & Commercial lineup top-of-mind and we understand that the way to do that is through great products. Being a great fleet and commercial partner starts with strong, award-winning products. With our safe, stylish, dependable and eco-friendly Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles, there is a GM product for every fleet need – cars, trucks, vans and crossovers. And to help you manage your fleet costs, we offer a wide array of fuel choices: fuel-efficient gasoline and clean diesel, FlexFuel (E-85), CNG, LPG, Bi-Fuel, e-Assist and plug-in electrics.
